Juno Ludovisi, plaster cast, late 19th century CE.

The Juno Ludovisi is an oversized marble head created in the 1st century CE. There is a rounded plug at the base of the neck, indicating that the head would have been fit into a colossal torso. The original resides at the Palazzo Altemps, Museo Nazionale Romano, Rome.
